Luxury Apartment with Large Pool and the Best View in Kalkan
Beautiful New Build Within Minutes of the Sea and Kalkan town

The Eagles Nest is a new 3 bed/3 bath apartment (sleeps 6) overlooking the Mediterranean and Kalkan Bay. Two of the bedrooms have double beds and the third has two single beds. The kitchen is fully fitted with a fridge/freezer, hob, oven, dishwasher, kettle and everything you need for cooking/dining. There is a television (with Satellite), DVD and sound system with iPod dock so bring your tunes. It is air-conditioned throughout. We have toys for the kids to take to the beach, a cool box, an inflatable raft for the pool or sea, beach towels, etc. There are two large balconies at the front where you can sit, relax and enjoy the warmth and quiet that is Kalkan, and a third, smaller balcony attached to the guest (double) bedroom which also has sea views. All of this is just window dressing for the amazing 220 degree unobstructed panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea and Kalkan Bay from the living room and dining area which is absolutely breathtaking.
Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week (or part thereof, if in excess of one week).
Stays of any length can be accommodated, including part weeks which will be charged pro-rata.
Changeover day
Changeover days can be flexible as can arrival / departure times within the constraints of existing bookings.
Accommodation Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with double bed.
Bedroom 2 with double bed.
Bedroom 3 with two single beds.
Bathrooms: Bathroom 1 en-suite to bed 1 (shower).
Bathroom 2 adjoins bed 2 with bath / shower.
Bathroom 3 en-suite to bed 3 (shower).
Kitchen: The kitchen is fully fitted with cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and equipped with pots, pans, utensils, cutlery and plates/glasses.
Living Rooms: The lounge/diningroom/kitchen is a large (30 feet long) open plan area with windows on three sides overlooking Kalkan Bay. There is a large sofa, a television and beautiful table that seats 6. There are two balconies with fantastic views of the bay.
Other: The extrernal areas are finished to a very high standard. Sun loungers and umbrellas surround the pool. There are also tables and chairs for outdoor dining.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: All towels and linens are provided, including beach towels. Bedding and towels are changed weekly and the apartment is cleaned weekly. A more frequent service can be arranged on request.
Notes on accommodation
The apartment is air-conditioned throughout. However it is not suitable for under 2s nor anyone who has difficulty with steps.

Accessibility
The property is situated on the hillside above Kalkan Bay and there are steps between the property entrance and the apartment as well as steps down to the sea.
Outside
Large shared pool with patio furniture, deck chairs and padded lounge chairs. The property is beach accessible via a shared staired path down through the exclusive Villa Mahal resort. There are chairs for hire (10YTL) at the seaside and a lovely cafe serving drinks, lunch and dinner. Just a short swim out into the bay, there is a diving platform and shared kayaks that can be used when available.
Coast/Beach
Kalkan Bay is just below the property. There are numerous beach clubs within a 10 minute drive (usually by free taxi). Patara Beach is a 25 minute drive and can be accessed by private care or the local shuttle bus which leaves from the main town centre regularly.
Travel
Logistically, you will fly into Dalaman Airport. Kalkan is a 1.5 hour drive from Dalaman and we can help arrange for transportation to and from the airport for about £50-£60 each way for a standard-sized taxi. Alternatively, if you want to explore on your own, you can hire a car either in Dalaman Airport or Kalkan Town for somewhere between £20-£25/day. Again we can arrange this for you.
Distances
Kalkan village is a 10 minute walk. There is a shuttle boat which runs between the Villa Mahal, just below the property, to Kalkan harbour regularly during the summer and costs 3YTL each way. Alternatively, by taxi the journey will take only 5 minutes. The local shuttle bus service (dolmus) takes you to nearby places of interest.
Further details
Near Kalkan there is lots to explore. Our favourites so far have been a day trip to Kekova with its the sunken Lycean city; spending a day playing in the warm water at Patara Beach with its vast expanse of sand which is about a 25 minute taxi ride away; and hiring a boat with friends, exploring some of the bays and islands nearby, snorkeling in the warm waters and having a free mud scrub on one of the beaches.
Booking notes
20% of rental fee due on booking and the balance due within 8 weeks of travel. Other services can be arranged on request (ie cleaning, laundry and transfers/car hire).
Cancellation Policy –
full-refund upto 12 weeks prior to departure;
20% of booking fee retained 8 – 12 weeks prior to departure; 50% of booking fee retained 4 – 8 weeks prior to departure; 75% of booking fee retained 2 – 4 weeks prior to departure and 100% if within 2 weeks of travel date.
