Villa Sovalye (The Knight’s House) is only a leisurely 10 minute stroll (no steep hills!) to the town square and is situated approx 200m behind Kalamar Road in peaceful and relaxing surroundings. All rooms are fully air conditioned and have mosquito screens. The owners have furnished the villa with great care and attention to detail creating a wonderful and stylish ambience. The villa has a spacious roof terrace with a traditional Turkish style Ottoman seating area – a wonderful place to chill out and admire the spectacular sea and mountain views. There is also a barbeque and table and chairs. The pool area has four sun loungers, three umbrellas, an additional BBQ and table and chairs for al fresco dining. The beautiful mosaic tiled pool is 6mx4m and has a constant depth of 2m (not suitable for children who cannot swim). At the rear of the villa, set in the lush tropical gardens, there is a beautiful gazebo with a hammock where you can also relax and enjoy the peace and serenity.

Prices are per week in UK Pounds. Bookings of either one or two weeks only accepted. Please note changeover day is Saturday in 2010.
Changeover day
Changeover Day is Saturday (sorry this is not flexible). Check in after 4pm. Check out 12 noon. If you have a late flight your luggage may be stored until your departure.
Accommodation Bedrooms: Bedroom 1-King-size bed with door opening onto balcony. Bedroom 2-Double bed with ensuite wet room and door opening onto balcony.
Bedroom 3-Double bed with door opening to pool terrace.
All rooms tastefully furnished. Hairdryers in each of the bedrooms.
Bathrooms: There are 3 bathrooms all fully tiled with luxury fittings and marble topped vanity units. One has a Jacuzzi spa bath and other two have showers.
Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to ensure a comfortable stay with large fridge/freezer, gas hob/electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, all utensils crockery etc and a water chiller for your convenience.
Utility Room: The washing machine is located in the main bathroom on the first floor. Washing powder and fabric conditioner are provided.
Living Rooms: Very spacious open plan lounge area, tastefully furnished with beautiful wrought iron sofas, marble topped coffee table, large dining table and 6 chairs, open fireplace, satellite TV/DVD and CD player. French doors open directly onto pool terrace.
Other: On the roof terrace is a fabulous Turkish Ottoman seating area with low table and cushions affording spectacular views of the sea and mountains – a wonderful place to chill out! There are also two sun loungers, a large barbeque and table and chairs.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: The pool and garden are maintained to a high standard on a daily basis. All bed linen, towels and a cleaning service is provided once a week. Please bring your own beach towels.
Notes on accommodation
Air conditioning and mosquito screens in all rooms. The pool has a constant depth of 2m and is not suitable for young children. All bedrooms have double wardrobes, bedside and dressing tables, beautiful lamps and Turkish style bedspreads. Bed linen and towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels. Welcome pack on arrival. Please note that we do not consider the villa suitable for young children due to the depth of the unguarded pool and the low wall on roof terrace. The owners cannot accept liability for any accidents that may occur during the rental period and guests must accept responsibility in any event. (No more than 6 guests are permitted to stay at any time).

Outside
The 6m x 4m pool is 2m deep and is private and not shared by anyone else. Outdoor funiture includes three umbrellas and four sun loungers by the pool. There is also a table and chairs for al fresco dining and a barbeque on the pool terrace. On the roof terrace there is a superb Turkish Ottoman seating area, a large barbecue, table and chairs and 2 sun loungers.(see more photos).
Coast/Beach
Kalkan beach is 15 minute walk from the villa. Kapitus beach is a 15 minute drive from the villa or approx 20 minutes on the dolmus. Patara beach is a 25 minute drive from the villa or approx 35 minutes on the dolmus. There are quite a few reputable diving centres close by.
Travel
Dalaman is the nearest airport and is approximately 1 hour 40 minutes drive away from Kalkan. We can arrange airport transfers in an air-conditioned taxi or minibus for £100 return (2-3 persons) or £130 return (4-6 persons) We can aslo arrange private car hire. NB: We strongly recommend that guests who have not been to Kalkan have the airport transfers.
Distances
10 minutes walk to the village square with no steep hills! 10 minutes walk to the local market which is every Thursday. Close to diving centres.
Further details
There is a great choice of over 150 restaurants and many wonderful shops and boutiques in Kalkan all just waiting to be explored! There is also a bank and a post office in the village. Local shops and supermarkets are all within easy walking distance of the villa. The local market on Thursdays selling a vast range of local goods and produce is not to be missed! A ‘Pay as you Go’ mobile phone is provided to ring for taxis or make restaurant reservations (local calls only).
Booking notes
A £200 deposit is required to secure a booking. This is non-returnable if the balance is not paid when due or the booking is cancelled for any reason. The balance is payable 8 weeks before departure plus £200 damage deposit (this is returnable subject to no breakages during your stay otherwise deductions will be made accordingly). Please note the following deductions will also apply: Loss of keys £50. Damage or loss of mobile phone £100. More than 6 guests staying without permission £200.
